A few questions our team likes to answer for the families we work with.
What is your job?
I work with children, teenagers, and their families to understand how they experience the world, and to find ways forward together. Some of that looks like assessment, where we try to build a clearer picture of your child. Some of it looks like therapy, where we work through things step by step. Both come from the same place, taking the time to understand your child and to walk alongside your family.
What is your favourite part of working with children and families?
The unexpected moments. A child telling me exactly what they think of me, a teenager cracking a joke that catches me off guard, a family laughing together in the middle of a hard conversation. Kids keep you honest.
If you could have any superpower to help with your job, what would it be?
The ability to see the world through a child’s eyes for a few minutes. So much of what children experience is hard for them to put into words, and being able to feel it alongside them would help me understand them better.
What is one thing you want to say to parents, carers or families we provide support to?
Asking for help is not a sign that something has gone wrong. It is a sign that you are paying attention. That is one of the best things you can do for your child.
What makes our model of care different?
Our vision is to create a community where every neurodiverse child is valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential through compassionate and personalised care.
Holistic Approach
We believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Our care integrates physical, emotional, and developmental needs to provide comprehensive support tailored to each child’s unique journey.
Multidisciplinary Team
Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively across psychology, paediatrics, and children’s occupational therapy. Together, we create personalised plans that address all facets of our patients’ needs.
In-House Paediatricians
Our in-house paediatricians offer expert, personalised care. With a focus on ongoing support, we ensure every child receives the attention they need to grow, develop, and thrive with confidence.
Our Approach
Our approach is to empower families to access quality, holistic care for children with neurodevelopmental and behavioural challenges. Families can access our services directly, and we also welcome referrals and collaboration from GPs, paediatricians, and other healthcare providers. This ensures coordinated, comprehensive care, especially for families who prefer their health professionals to remain involved in overall health management.
Our in-house paediatricians are highly capable of managing children’s needs. This collaboration includes expert medication management, continuous monitoring, regular check-ups, and necessary therapies to ensure each child’s well-being. Driven by innovation, we combine the latest advancements with our holistic approach, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
