David
TEAM LEAD PSYCHOLOGIST
David is a registered psychologist with AHPRA, with more than 10 years of professional experience supporting children, adolescents, and families.
David is a graduate of Western Sydney University. He works with young people across a range of learning, developmental, and behavioural areas, including learning difficulties, ADHD and Autism. David draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play therapy.
He is also experienced in administering standardised cognitive and developmental assessments, including the WISC-V, ADOS-2, WIAT-3, WPPSI and Bayley-III.
As Team Lead Psychologist at HealthSync Care, David supports the clinical team alongside his own assessment and therapy work.

I lead a team of people who help others by doing assessments and providing therapy sessions. I teach them, so that they can help you

Supporting families to achieve the best health outcomes for their children.
If you could have any superpower to help with your job, what would it be?
It would be nice to have the ability to travel through time so I can do all the things I would like to do in one day.
What’s one thing you want to say to parents, carers or families we provide support to?
I’m not a mechanic. I can’t fix you and you are not broken. We all need help sometimes and that’s okay.

Our Approach
Our approach is to empower families to access quality, holistic care for children with neurodevelopmental and behavioural challenges. Families can access our services directly, and we also welcome referrals and collaboration from GPs, paediatricians, and other healthcare providers. This ensures coordinated, comprehensive care, especially for families who prefer their health professionals to remain involved in overall health management.
Our in-house paediatricians are highly capable of managing children’s needs. This collaboration includes expert medication management, continuous monitoring, regular check-ups, and necessary therapies to ensure each child’s well-being. Driven by innovation, we combine the latest advancements with our holistic approach, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
